Advanced Hierarchical Procurement allows organizations to centralize order workflow from order entry to order submission. TIMS uses role-based privileges that allow hierarchical managers to approve their users' orders, usage, and more.

For example, a user enters an order as per corporate policy, set up in TIMS. The user's manager then electronically approves the order and TIMS forwards it to the vendor with appropriate codes.

Inventory stores all the key components of telecom services: service addresses, service plans, speeds, allocations, and more. When a TIMS user closes an order in the TIMS Orders module, TIMS automatically updates Inventory.

TIMS provides inventory and asset control and auditing for the following: Mobile, Voice Lines, Data/Internet Service, Calling Cards, Conferencing (Audio, Video, and Web), VoIP, eFax, MPLS, Web Hosting, Colocation, etc.

Mobile Usage Policy Implementation & Auditing

One of the unique features of the TIMS platform is its comprehensive Mobile Usage Policy Implementation and Auditing capabilities.

We work with the client to set up:

  • groups based on job profile, location, hierarchy, etc.
  • procurement bundles of devices and plans
  • spend limits via policy templates for voice, data, text, roaming, international usage, and more.

TIMS then runs Mobile Usage Policy audits and sends a monthly report to managers to flag constant outliers of the corporate Mobile Usage Policy.

Invoice Allocations & Auditing

TIMS brings Invoices into the system electronically, sends them to departmental heads for spend approval, electronically audits them against Orders and Contracts, and then splits them up into GL codes for cost allocation to Accounts Payable.

Split Billing to End-User & A/P (IRS Compliant)

TIMS’ Split Billing capability allows organizations to charge end-users for personal usage such as mobile apps, third-party software, 411 calls, ring tones, and international roaming.

End-users get an automated electronic copy of their portion of the invoice. And Accounts Payable gets an electronic split-billing report that can be uploaded into the internal financial software system.

This Split Billing feature also provides organizations with the methodologies required by the IRS to satisfy their reporting requirements for corporate mobile phone usage.

Multi-Currency, Multi-Vendor System

TIMS allows organizations to track invoices that use non-U.S. currencies. TIMS incorporates these international currencies into the normalized Reporting view, as well as other parts of the system.
